I’m not here to fix you. I’m here to get rid of you.
There is a programmed and inherited version of you, one you’ve spent years trying to refine, improve, fix or change. It’s the one that continues to sabotage your life, and keeps you chained and stuck to your old belief systems.
The Michelangelo Method™ is a 6 week live mastermind to take you through a process of removal designed to dissolve subconscious limitations, expose blindspots and reveal the true you — The masterpiece underneath.

The Michelangelo Method™
I’m building a community for people who are done trying to become better versions of who they were programmed to be.
For years, I searched for an approach to transformation that didn’t assume we were broken, incomplete or needed another identity to become.
What I found was an industry obsessed with addition: more healing, more mindset, more habits, more frameworks and more identities to perform.
So I built what I couldn’t find.
The Michelangelo Method™ is a process of removal that helps you uncover the programming you’ve mistaken for yourself, question what you’ve mistaken for truth and reveal what was underneath it all along.
This isn’t another ideology to follow or identity to adopt. It’s for people willing to remove what isn’t them and build a life around what actually matters.
Freedom isn’t learning to see the world through my framework. It’s becoming capable of seeing the frameworks through which you’ve been seeing the world.

the people i work with align with these principles
Truth is the goal.
We are more interested in discovering what is true than proving that what we already believe is right. That requires a willingness to examine our beliefs, stories, assumptions and interpretations, particularly the ones we have carried for so long that they no longer appear to us as beliefs at all.
Truth sometimes requires us to surrender an explanation that once made sense, question an identity we have spent years protecting or admit that the way we have been seeing something is not the only way it can be seen. We would rather lose a belief than spend a lifetime defending something that is no longer true.
The goal isn’t to be right. It’s to see clearly.
There is nothing wrong with you.
We reject the idea that you are fundamentally broken and need to be fixed. The patterns, beliefs and adaptations you carry have provenance; they came from somewhere, developed for a reason and often made complete sense within the circumstances in which they were created.
The problem begins when something you learned, inherited or adapted becomes so familiar that you mistake it for who you are. Instead of seeing a pattern, you see a personality. Instead of recognising an old conclusion, you experience it as reality.
Our work therefore doesn’t begin by asking what’s wrong with you. We ask what happened, what you made it mean, what you learned to believe and who you learned to become as a consequence.
The masterpiece was never broken. It was obscured.
Perception is the only world we ever live in.
We don’t experience life independently of the frameworks through which we perceive it. Everything we encounter passes through language, memory, beliefs, previous experiences and the meanings we have learned to give things, which means we are constantly responding not only to what happened but to what what happened means to us.
When those interpretations become invisible, we stop experiencing them as interpretations and begin experiencing them as reality. This is why we learn to separate what actually happened from the story, meaning and conclusions that accumulated around it.
The work isn’t simply changing what you’re looking at. Sometimes it is discovering where you’re looking from.
The pattern is not the person.
A behaviour can be learned, an emotional response can be conditioned, an identity can be constructed and a strategy can be developed because it once helped you survive, belong, succeed, avoid rejection or receive love. None of those things automatically tell us who you fundamentally are.
We refuse to turn our patterns, wounds, diagnoses, childhood experiences or adaptations into permanent identities. They may explain something about how you arrived here without determining where you have to go next.
Familiar does not mean fundamental.
Removal is the process.
Most personal development begins with the assumption that something is missing, which sends people searching for more confidence, discipline, healing, knowledge, habits, techniques or another identity to become.
The Michelangelo Method begins with a different possibility: perhaps you don’t need more added to you; perhaps something needs to be removed. We uncover the beliefs, conclusions, identities and psychological artefacts that have accumulated around you, trace their provenance and examine whether they remain true.
Transformation, from this perspective, isn’t always an act of construction. Sometimes becoming who you are requires removing who you learned to be.
We don’t improve the marble. We remove it to reveal the masterpiece.
Purpose over performance.
A person can build an impressive life around an identity they never consciously chose. Success can become performance, healing can become performance, masculinity can become performance and even authenticity can become another character to maintain when our lives are organised around who we believe we should be.
We aren’t interested in becoming more convincing versions of our programming. We remove what was built around approval, fear, expectation and belonging so that we can discover what genuinely matters when there is no longer an audience to impress or an identity to maintain.
The purpose of freedom isn’t simply to feel free. It is to become available for a life that is genuinely yours.
We don’t remove who you’re not so you can perform someone new. We remove who you’re not so you can live from what actually matters.
Responsibility creates freedom.
Responsibility is not blame, nor does it require denying what happened, minimising another person’s actions or pretending that we consciously chose the programming we inherited.
It means recognising that once something becomes visible, our relationship with it becomes our responsibility. We may not have chosen the circumstances that shaped us, but continuing to hand those circumstances authority over the rest of our lives eventually becomes a choice.
The past gives our patterns provenance, but provenance tells us where something came from, not where it must go.
You may not be responsible for how the marble got there, but you become responsible for whether it stays.
We don’t replace one ideology with another.
The Michelangelo Method isn’t designed to remove your beliefs so that I can give you mine. I’m not interested in telling people what to think, who they should become or which identity they should perform next.
The deeper work is learning to recognise the architecture underneath your own thinking so that you can examine what you believe, understand where it came from and decide whether it remains true. That requires us to keep everything available for inquiry, including psychology, culture, family, relationships, social norms, the ideas you’ve inherited and even the ideas I teach.
If something is true, honest inquiry doesn’t threaten it. If it cannot survive being questioned, you’re better off discovering that.
Freedom isn’t learning to see the world through my framework. It’s becoming capable of seeing the frameworks through which you’ve been seeing the world.
In their words
I tried absolutely everything. I'd always end up in the same predicaments.
I'd been on the self-development path for more than 20 years trying to change before working with Jag. I tried absolutely everything: spiritual and business books, therapists, plant medicine ceremonies, meditation, gratitude, visualisation. But I'd always end up in the same predicaments in every single aspect of my life, creating the same experiences, circumstances and relationships time and time again. It wasn't till I started working with Jag that my life finally started to transform. He was able to show me what was unresolved within me, and when that happened it no longer held power over me.
He speaks with surgical precision.
In just three sessions with Jag, I gained an awareness of my deepest self and an action plan to radically expand towards my fullest potential. I have since already seen notable improvements in my most difficult relationships with myself and others.
The best investment I ever could have spent money on.
Thank you so much for 6 beautiful sessions, Jag. I feel like a different person than I was a few months ago and I couldn't have done it without your help.
Before You Ask
Questions worth answering directly.
Is this therapy?
No. The Michelangelo Method is not therapy, counselling or a clinical service, and it is not a substitute for one. If you are dealing with something that needs clinical care, that is where to start. This work assumes you are functioning and stuck, not in crisis.
How is this different from everything else I have tried?
Almost everything in personal development is additive. This is subtractive. The premise is that you are not missing a capability, you are carrying something that sits in the way of one you already have. The work is removal, not installation.
Do I need to believe in anything particular for this to work?
No. You do not need to hold any spiritual position, adopt a worldview, or take anything on faith. The work is about what you actually do in the moments that matter, and whether that changes. If it does not change, it is not working, regardless of what either of us believes.
Who is this not for?
Anyone looking for a system to follow, a routine to adopt, or another framework to add to the ones already on the shelf. If the appeal is having something new to do, this will disappoint you. It asks you to put things down, which is harder and less immediately satisfying.
